I learned portraiture from going to the duck pond that natural lighting is the best lighting but using a reflector makes the model look better giving it a glow, warm or cold look. Natural Background also give it a nice outcome. The poses i decided one were from the handout we were given, those poses worked well because of the different objects we were able to put together. While using the reflectors it made a difference in the model giving them more of a bright color making them glow. Depending in what kind of lighting they were in it would be a different color of reflector, I mainly used the gold reflector to give a more warm vibrant color. When retouching my photographs I outlined the face of my model and used the blur tool to blur out the skin a little but not extremely to much. I then used the healing tool to take away any extra scant or acne. The outcome was well after adding some noise which is like the pixels. This retouching process works good when the people being photographed want to have a clear, soft skin.

In this photo there is a high school senior who is prepared to walk off campus for the last time as a student. Finally going to become a graduate after accomplishing four stressful years of high school, all those late nights staying up doing homework finally paid off. It's time tp take a big step into the real life. As the student is walking with their cap and gown in her hands, she realizes she is prepared for the next hardships that life will throw her way. Whether it takes 5 or 10 years to achieve who she wants to be in this life she will achieve it because there is no stopping her when she wants to accomplish a task. She wants to be someone and will overcome any obstacles. You cannot put to waste this education that we are given. Therefore use this opportunity to reach out for your dreams even if they may seem impossible. Always strive for what you really want because it won't be handed to you.
The food item I brought was a cheesecake with a big strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, and some strawberry jam on top all within a crust. The props I provided were a fork, a candle, 2 slices of oranges, a thin cutting board, and a small yellow flower with the green stems. If there were five things I learned from the food photography video and presentation that I didn't know before the first would be that natural lighting from outside is probably the best kinda of lighting then any kinda of flash, the second would using the gold or silver reflectors will give your object a better look.
